Bradley Melnick is a results and relationships oriented, global healthcare and operations senior executive driving billions in realized value through strategy, solutions, and transformation across the business lifecycle: start-up, stabilization, turn-around, exit.
Bradley recently joined Optum Behavioral Care as COO of Optum Behavioral Care, where he has oversight for the business' rollout of a new, national end-to-end mental healthcare delivery model. Bradley just completed leadership of UnitedHealthcare's (UHC) three-year operations transformation, where he collaborated across the business to drive more than $3B in savings. Prior to his role in UHC, served as head of Strategy and Engagement for Optum Global Solutions, UnitedHealth Group's $1B global operations and technology services unit, where he drove growth across India, Philippines and Ireland, established operations in Brazil and established linkages for new capabilities between OGS and the rest of the enterprise. Bradley's career with UHG started in 2007, where he led several strategic and operational transformation programs before joining OGS.
Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group, Bradley, as a career consultant, leading clients through transformation and business growth, primarily in Healthcare (both Payer and Provider), with UHG, Booz Allen Hamilton (now Strategy&), Strata Decision Technology (healthcare technology startup) and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Bradley holds an MBA from NYU Stern and a BS in Finance / Accounting from University of Illinois.
